The Nine Houses

Political decisions in Vog Thurum are made by the nine most influential dwarven clans, a group aptly called The Nine Houses. Meetings of the group are moderated by the direct descendant of Niswin, who can overrule any decisions made by the other members.
Currently, the nine members include Clan Ashenforge, Clan Feldspark, Clan Frostbeards, Clan Ironeye, Clan Longbeards, Clan Rockjaw, Clan Rockrack, Clan Shieldbreakers and Clan Stonecleavers.
