Vog Thurum
The largest and most influential dwarven city in existance.
Built in a large cave with roughly two kilometers in diameter, Vog Thurum is a city filled with wonders and magnificent works of architecture, ranging from the Spire, which protudes from the central parts of the city's ceiling, to Niswin's Light, an artificial sun that sheds light upon the otherwise darkened city. Numerous aqueducts bring potable water to hundreds of plazas decorated with elaborate fountains and statues, towers and mansions can be sighted in any of its streets.
Government
Most of the city's relevant decisions are made by The Nine Houses or, in rare cases, by Heiress Lyesri. These decisions often extend to any other sworn settlements, such as Kor Doguhm.
Defences
The city appears to have a decently sized standing army, but no other forms of fortification. Access to the city is made via large tunnels, which often have strongholds at their entrance, such as Kilturum Fort to the North, or Mur Lodhar, to the South.
History
Vog Thurum is an ancient city, dating all the way back to the early days of the Age of Fables.
