Professor Mattock Livy
Professor Mattock Livy is the current Headmaster and Archmage of the Mirrored Academy. As of the current year, he is widely regarded as the most powerful mortal spellcaster on Iveomos although he completely objects to these claims. He founded the Mirrored Academy after his encounter with an Aspect of Bahamut who granted him both immortality (against age) and greater magical potential. He conjured the Mirrored Academy and struggled in the beginning to attract students and staff.
Eventually, he concocted a plan to lure interplanar and otherwise exceptionally famous spellcasters to speak at his as of then unknown school. This succeeded in garnering the attention the school needed at the cost of several of the names of the various sections of the school.
Afterward, he spent a significant amount of studying and teaching at his school, occasionally gathering his fellow masters to hunt down and destroy/imprison many magical threats. Defeating lesser-liches, death knights, and nightwalkers. Capturing other beings for study and experimentation. Mattock would collect a great amount of both wealth and magic artifacts which he donates to the Academy.
After many years of adventuring and learning, he would come to meet the White Dragon Fenrir with whom he would travel and explore. The time spent together would later evolve into a close friendship and finally a deep love. The two would eventually marry, and they continue to explore and travel together. Fenrir is also a talented spellcaster who is a leader in the field of Cryomancy, no doubt inspired by their draconic heritage. The two of them have been researching an ancient magical empire that Fenrir discovered buried in the Southern edge of Iveomos.
In these current years, the Professor has become more concerned by the rising expansionism of the Empire, the darkness of the Lich growing in Icelia, and the threats posed by the aboleths and outer-beings edging closer and closer to the surface.
