Emperor Regent
The second Emperor Regent of the Jade Imperium.
Widely considered a puppet king by his subjects, Tae Sing Sae is the aging king of a declining Empire. He is wary of the Imperial Eunuchs' widespread influence and corruption, choosing to act the part of a weak-willed puppet to stay alive.
Fearing the demise of another Calamity, he commissions a group of Seekers to set forth on an adventure, knowing that doing so goes against centuries of tradition.
