Jakeopod Scales

Jakeopods shed small bits of their body, these bits are their scales, these scales are used for armor and decoration, mainly Jakeopods use them at funerals. Useing the scales of the dead to make their coffin.

Properties

Origin & Source

When a Jakeopod dies all of it's scales fall off at once, leaving a skinless corpse behind. Usually Jakeopods will bury the body in a coffin made of these scales.

Life & Expiration

Eventually after around 1,000 years they start to decompose.

History & Usage

Everyday use

It is used in coffins, by other races for armor or to threaten other Jakeopods.

Cultural Significance and Usage

They make coffins out of these scales and involve shed scales with death.
