Childhood
Crizdov was born to bankers Abijail Clarroi and Jodvrey Forazd. As a small child he had a penchant for taking apart his toys to see how they worked. His parents would joke that he would grow up to be mechanic or a surgeon. Though it was just a joke, they eventually began to regret ever saying it aloud. When he was 10 Crizdov moved from taking apart toys to taking apart dead animals. When his parents found out they started restricting Crizdov's outside time, making him focus on engineering and mechanics to keep him busy. It wasn't that long after this that his mother contracted Cryolidhium poisoning and died.
Alone and grieving, it was hard for his father to handle Crizdov's eccentric nature and increasingly abrasive attitude. That and social pressure lead to the two of them moving to Lord Ciwn.
Although his father did his best to keep an eye on Crizdov, he became too much for him to handle So as soon as Crizdov turned 15 he was sent to Diamond Lake Technical School, a strict boarding school in the area. His father had hopes of him mellowing out and returning home once graduated, but never heard from him again after that day.
Engineering School
While in Lord Ciwn, Crizdov was introduced to recreational drugs. Depressed and bored, he decided to experiment and eventually became interested in Oracle. It was also around this time he began insisting on being called by his last name, as was custom where he was from. The informality of the people in Lord Ciwn really irked him. (A part of it being that it was his mother's last name as well, not that he'd find need to say as much.)
Clarroi stayed in Lord Ciwn for about a year before escaping technical school and making his way to Bhcu Cuhcil to enroll himself into Cuhcil University of the Medical Sciences.
Medical School
First year at Cuhcil University
While he was happy to finally be learning in his chosen field, he was bored with the beginning material. To occupy his time when not studying he began trying to recreate Oracle, since it was hard to come by outside of Lord Ciwn.Second year at Cuhcil University
Moving onto more complex studies left less time to spend on his side project, so Clarroi allowed an interested group of freshmen to help him. Jloria Nijhd, Darc Wecd, and Jordan Ebba. With their help he developed a way to get the effects he wanted from Oracle without endangering his eyesight, though that lead to other side effects. Jloria suggested the name Vision, a play on words that the other juniors found delightful and so it stuck.Third year at Cuhcil University
Clarroi had began having a few nasty encounters with some of the professors due to his attitude, but he'd already shown himself to be extremely gifted, so the professors that disliked him where ignored. One such professor, Bram Ebba, found out about drug creation experiments but kept his mouth shut for the time being since Jordan was his son and Jloria was well liked. Wecd cut his ties with the group since he didn't have family connections or good grades to keep him out of trouble.Forth year at Cuhcil University
In his last year Clarroi became increasingly frustrated with the school's insistence on him becoming a surgeon. He was already bored with it and wanting to do something more challenging. It was also in this year that Jloria explicitly expressed her feelings for him. He relieved to her that he had not missed her hints and was simply hoping ignoring them would make her give up. The two of them had a big fight, with Jordan taking Jloria's side. This fight torn the friendship apart and the group disbanded.Graduation and work
After graduation, Professor Bram brought the evidence of the drug projects to the Bhcu Cuhcil Medical Society, pinning the whole thing solely on Clarroi, backed up by his son Jordan.Clarroi was found guilty and stripped of his licence after only having it a month. Annoyed, but not deterred, Clarroi moved to Ocuv Ana and took a job as lab tech at a small practice. He found he enjoyed the work much more than he expected to and was glad he didn't have to deal with many people or worry about 'bedside manner'.
The work there was controversial in the medical community, as they took samples of blood and analyzed them, finding deeper and more complex reasons behind illnesses. While there Clarroi learned a lot about the smaller scale of medicine. Not even a full year into his working there, though, the place was attacked by pirates who were looking for him, by name, leading him to suspect that someone from the Bhcu Cuhcil Medical Society set him up.
RazerRoze
Early years
Clarroi was selected because the RazorRoze pirates heard he was a surgeon and they needed him to remove an unwanted unborn child from the captain, a Dejuvi woman named Carah Brice. Intrigued by the idea and seeing an opportunity for something more exciting than grunt work for the rest of his life, Clarroi agrees to help and offers to stay on as the ship's doctor. But in return they had to provide him with the equipment needed do that and experiment with a few side projects.Amused by his boldness, and apparent lack of fear, the captain agreed. She also lets him keep the embryo when he expressed interest in trying to hatch it from an artificial egg like an Ovie.
His first step into genetics. Because he lacked the equipment of even a basic medical lab, Clarroi had to throw together makeshift equipment from scratch. He pulled heavily from his time in Technical School for this, and for once was glad he'd been forced to go.
This, in no small part, helped with Clarroi's experiment with hatching a Vivie from an egg, which worked much to his delight (first instance of his excitable state). Though, that then made him the one responsible for a baby, much to his dismay. He called the child VnoiVie(literally:testperson), and kept her by him at all times, since he didn't want to stop his work to go check on her.
Reputation
After some time Brice came up with the idea of charging other pirates for use of her doctor. Anyone needing medical help who couldn't pay her price could get a discount by letting Clarroi experiment on them. She also sent people she wanted revenge on, or information from, to him for a similar outcome.Because of this, and his haughty attitude, Clarroi garnered a bad reputation among pirates as being a heartless butcher. Many even believing that the Razor in RazorRose referred to him. Rumors began to spread that he and Brice had a romantic interest in each other because of this, and how much she teased him. Rumors that enraged Brice's pilot, Jecce Cozand, who had a thing for her. He began to go out of his way to cause problems for Clarroi and VnoiVie. This extra harassment lead Clarroi to experimenting with Mirye to help relax, but the side effects were a bit extreme for him, leaving him a giggling mess each time he took it. The drug also made him very affectionate and interested in the feel of things, something that Brice took advantage of when the mood stuck her. This also added to the rumors of them dating.
Biohacking
Over time Clarroi's live medication related experiments for payment evolved into people paying more for requests. These requests started when a pirate known as Skull Buster Ardiny, who'd lost the feeling in her hand due to a rather vigorous round of busting skulls, allegedly. She wanted magnets placed in her fingers so she could still use her favorite dining irons without being able to feel them. It was an interesting enough procedure that it caught Clarroi's attention and made him curious as to what other things could be implanted into, or changed about, a person's body. Since then he's done many strange implants and unique prosthetics. They became very popular with HavocBreakers, as they are more prone to loosing limbs and most previous replacements were low in usability.Clarroi took the idea a bit farther himself, experimenting with Cybertech and Rovertech, pulling on his small time in Technical School to create mostly outer wear to enhance strength or stability. He even made himself a wearable set of extra arms to help him in the lab.
Coar
Clarroi was never really sure what the deal that went wrong was that saw a 12 year old joining them, all he knew was that no one liked that Oradoal was there. Brice didn't know what to do with the kid so she passed sent him to Clarroi as a 'bodyguard' to keep him out of her hair. He got into everything and was constantly asking questions. To keep him from getting in the way Clarroi made him a lab assistant, thinking that if he was going to touch everything he may as well do so in a useful way. While Clarroi didn't particularly like Oradoal, he did appreciate his usefulness. Oradoal took over caring for VnoiVieo, who he called Roza, saving Clarroi a lot of hassle. He didn't complain about being told to fetch things or being the test subject for experiments. He also had a way of dealing with Brice and Cozand that kept them out of Clarroi's lab most of the time. Oradoal was a fast learner and over time even took over some of the more basic first aid pirates were sent to Clarroi for.
With the free time he gained from having Oradoal around, Clarroi began to get into more interesting projects, such as designing custom lab equipment and trying to further refine Vision and other drugs.
Brice eventually began using Clarroi and Oradoal as her 'ambassadors' to the planets, mostly handing goods off to fencers and drug-runners, since she and Cozand had some bad blood with various people on both planets making it hard to do things in person.

One such 'ambassador mission' involved being rented out to the Raycravd syndicate to preform a life saving surgery. His patient turned out to be Wecd, one of the freshmen he'd met in medschool. Though Clarroi didn't remember Wecd at all, he remembered Clarroi and was surprised to see him. In the 10 or so years since they last met, Wecd had made a name for himself by creating the Cure for Cryolidhium poisoning.Wecd was desperate for friends outside the syndicate so he convinced the syndicate leader to have Brice make Clarroi visit more often. Clarroi was fine with having an excuse to get off the ship more often and talk with someone in the medical field.
On their first return visit though, the Raycravd house was infiltrated by strange masked figures who kidnapped Wecd. They also took Clarroi who'd wondered in at the wrong time.
The Project
Clarroi and Wecd were taken to a facility that housed a few other unwilling scientists and doctors, and forced to work on a strange project. The group was trying to create powers in people using Colossi parts and Cryolidhium. Wecd had been targeted due to his work with Cryolidhium, but Clarroi wasn't someone they were expecting. He was quick to show how useful he could be on the subject though, as his attitude got him into trouble almost immediately.Tired of the whining of the other captives, and having already givin up on anyone caring enough to come save him (not to mention being the only one not scared to ask for things), Clarroi convinced their captors that if they want better results then they should make the living conditions better. This earned him any friends among the captives, and, due to his personality, a few enemies among the group that had captured them. While visiting the facility to see how the project is coming along, the leader of the masked group took an interest in Clarroi. At first it was because he was the only scientist on board who seems to have any idea on how to proceed with her project, but he couldn't keep his sarcastic mouth shut and she took it on herself to personally break him of that. In the process she revealed her identity to him, wanting to get the respect from him she felt she was owed.
During one of their meetings Clarroi had a epiphany on the project and made great headway into what they were wanting when he returned to work (second instance of his excitable state).
Reborn
It was in this state that the Raicravd syndicate, with Oradoal in tow, finally located Wecd launched a raid on the building to get him back. As they secured the kidnapped doctors they noticed Clarroi wasn't among them and assumed he'd been killed. But Oradoal ran off to find him on his own. The moment he was found and rescued is one that has stuck with Clarroi for the rest of his life. After that he stopped fussing at Oradoal's nicknames for him, and began calling Oradoal by his first name, Coar. He began to see Oradoal as more of a son than a bodyguard, much to Coar's delight.Clarroi let the Raicravd know that the leader of the group was Emma Edwardc of Four Es Corporation, starting a feud between the two companies.
When Clarroi and Coar finally got back to the ship they learn that Roza had escaped while they were away. This, coupled with his recent experiences, drove Clarroi to learn more about genetics, Cryolidhium, and Colossi. Even going so far as to start requesting Colossi bits over lab equipment from Brice.
Brice obliges and also begins targeting Four Es Corporation transports to send a message, which, in turn, gets the Vondren Military after RazorRoze. With the added infamy, fame, and money the crew starts to expand, adding on two new members, Vernon Conray(Sparks) and Benjiman Jevcods(Sunseed). Unsurprisingly none of them really hit it off with Clarroi and mostly left him alone.
Eventually Cozand is killed by Coar, for killing his lover (a member of the Raycravd syndicate). No one seems overly sad at Cozand's passing, a fitting end for a horrid man in Clarroi's mind. Clarroi requests the remains for experimental reasons, but they hand them over to the Raycravd instead as a peace offering. Even Brice doesn't seem to upset by it, making Coar her new pilot and second in command.
The next crew member to join is a young herbalist named Levy Janus, who learned a bit in the way of making medicine before joining them. Though more a medic than a doctor, Clarroi is happy to let her take over most of his healing responsibility on the ship so he can focus on his own projects, as well as producing Cryosynth based drugs at Brice's request.
Falling out
Eventually harassing the Vondren Military caught up to Brice, and she was ambushed by them. Coar wanted to go save her while Clarroi tried to talk him out of it. They had a bit of a fight, but, in the end, Clarroi wasn't able to stop him. The fight weighed on Clarroi's mind, worried Coar wouldn't be making it back. Brice died in the fight, leaving Coar, who saw her as his mother, devastated. While trying to process his own emotions and comfort Coar, Clarroi made the mistake of mentioning how they would be better off without her. This started yet another fight between them that culminated in Clarroi being kicked off the ship by the rest of the crew. By the time he realized his mistake, it was too late, the ship had left port without him. He was free for the first time in 30 years, and had no idea what to do. Utterly lost and alone he became despondent again. It was in this state that the port authority found him. When he didn't respond to their questions they took him in for processing and found he was an infamous pirate doctor.Vondren Military
Clarroi was handed off to the Vondren Military and his research was confiscated. He was taken to Ciwn Securities, but was only there for a week or two before being shipped off to West Winds Medical, a surgical school, to work on a Project for the military. All of Clarroi's research notes, ideas, and plans for his makeshift, personalized, and invented tools where copied and sent out to medical labs. From there some of his ideas were refined and sent to manufacture, leading to a boom in new and specialized medical equipment, medications, procedures, and prosthetics. Sadly he wasn't credited for any of his work and much of his research was considered taboo and discarded.
Reconnecting with Jordan
The professors at West Winds Medical school were not a fan of this new comer. Most had no idea why this man they had never heard of was getting the biggest office. Thinking him simply another professor. This was not helped by the fact Clarroi was made to teach as part of his sentence. All thier interactions with him we're rather poor to start with, and him continuously correcting then and calling them out on things were there students could see did not help. Head Professor Jordan Ebba, am old school mate, was the only one who knew the truth of the matter, but was unable to share it with the others. While he and Clarroi didn't become friends again, Jordan did try this best to get the other professors to not be as hostile.Bori Project, Phase One
Happy to have something to focus on, Clarroi didn't question it too much when the research seemed to tie into what he'd done when he'd been kidnapped by the Four Es Corporation so long ago. His own confiscated research had covered some of it so it was easy to overlook. Though overtime he did begin to suspect a connection. He didn't have much time to think about it though as he was also made to teach a few classes. And on top of that his overseer, DoctorVear Mecdir, kept him very busy. Doctor Mecdir, a mentalist, took great interest in Clarroi's mental state and finally diagnosed him with ICS. As the illness had no known cure or treatment, many treatments were tried, so aside from the Project they were both working on, Mecdir also made sure Clarroi slept and ate properly, got regular exercise, and learned some basic self defense. All of which annoyed Clarroi as it took time away from what he wanted to do.The first great success came a year into the bug war when the first altered subject was hatched. This breakthrough caused the third instance of Clarroi's excitable state and scared Mecdir so badly that he began to keep an even closer eye on Clarroi's mental state, unsure if he had something new or if his ICS had gotten to a stage never before witnessed.
Things went on uneventfully until news of the Vida disaster got to Clarroi.

Worried that Coar might have been on the station Clarroi reached out to Darc Wecd, hoping Coar was still in contact with the Raycravd. Wecd was surprised to hear from Clarroi and informed him that Coar was alive and had been looking for him since he left.Wecd arranged a visit to West Winds Medical, and brought Coar along as his body guard to surprise Clarroi. While seeing Coar again made him happy, he spent most of their time together berating him for coming. Coar didn't seem to mind and asked Clarroi if he wanted to be rescued. Clarroi turned him down, enjoying his work.
Wecd convinced Mecdir, who was a big fan of his, to let them take Clarroi out to dinner. Mecdir came along to keep an eye on his prisoner, and invited his old teacher and other hero, Doctor Nijhd to join them. Seeing Jloria after all that time was extremely unexpected.
Bori Project, Phase Two
With the bug war heating up, all militarty projects start to get more pressure on them to hurry up and produce results. Clarroi doesn't believe their project could ever be militarily viable before they either won or the bugs wiped them all out. The military official the commissioned the project, Adavn Baird, begins showing up more frequently to observe, though he only gets in the way as far as Clarroi is concerned.Though Baird backs off again once the second successful subject is hatched. (fourth instance of his excitable state)
For Mecdir's part of the project the first subject is sent away as training starts for the second. Mecdir's interest in Clarroi's mental state increases as he attempts to diagnose him. Coar and Mecdir become increasingly antagonistic towards each other. Leading, enevetably, to Coar being captured by the Vondren Military and sent to Ciwn Securities. Just after this Clarroi is contacted by Roza out of nowhere with a request to help her daughter. He informed her that he could do very little given his circumstances, and that she would be better off never contacting him again. Something he instantly regrets but can do little about.
Bori Project, Aftermath
As the bug war finally came to an end, the second subject escaped. She nearly killed Mecdir and Clarroi losses a leg in the process. Seeing her power, his greatest creation, caused another overexcited fit in Clarroi. He was so ecstatic that he had to be sedated. It took him a full two days to calm down, only really sobering up when an injured and benumbed Coar was brought to him. Unsure why Coar was brought there or what happened, Clarroi struggles to find a way to help him. Before Clarroi can get to work on fixing him though, Baird makes Mecdir's well being his priority. Baird gets the current owner of the Four Es Corporation, the grandson of the woman who'd kidnapped Clarroi in the past, involved. Clarroi also learns that it was her doing that got him on the Bori Project in the first place. Upset at this news, Clarroi doesn't want to work with them. Not used to dealing with Clarroi and his ICS without Mecdir's help, Baird threatens Coar's health to keep Clarroi 'in line'.
Creating the first true Cybernetics
At Baird's orders Clarroi works with Edwardc to design a mobile life support unit for Mecdir using Rovertech and Colossi 'essence'. The first true cybernetic implants designed by either Ovie or Vivie. During this process Coar drifts in and out of consciousness, slowly becoming less and less responsive. Worrying about Coar and having to suppress his ICS with little to no support or medication because of Baird's threats, began to take a tole on Clarroi. In one of his lucid moments Coar learns about the threats and cuts his own eye out in defiance, disliking being used to suppress or control his dad. After that though Coar doens't wake again. This snaps Clarroi out of his funk, he stops worrying about suppressing his illness and starts making conditions for his continued help on the project. Namely use of the Mindbreaker System in order to help Coar. Not having much of a choice now, Baird agrees. And so they head into production and implanting with no way to control Clarroi. All Baird's threats become useless and Edwardc gets a taste of what his grandmother had to deal with. The procedure is a success and Mecdir rises again.MindBreaker
While Mecdir acclimates to his new enhancements, Clarroi uses the Mindbreaker System in an attempt to help Coar. His trip into his and Coar's shared psyche is a profound and terrifying ordeal that nearly costs Clarroi his life. In the end it's Coar that pulls the both of them out of it. The experience leaves Clarroi with great insight to himself and reinforces his drive to discover new medical advances. Coar is able to contact his wife, who comes to take him home.Advancing Cybernetics
Clarroi doesn't waste any time, diving into mechanics with new insight. While he's researching ways to improve the processes that created Mecdir's enhancments, the Vondren Military makes an unexpected move (one Clarroi suspects was influenced by the Four Es Corporation) and take in a bug refuge. They house the bug, who Clarroi ends up calling Doctor DinDinna, and her half Oth daughter Dazani, at West Winds Medical. DinDinna was a bug scientist in charge of the biorobotics division. Clarroi was eager to learn from her since bug tech was said to be much more advanced than anything they had. Luckily the bugs didn't understand sarcasm or voice tone, so his ICS didn't hinder his relationship with DinDinnaAround this time Mecdir began acting strange, leaving Clarroi mostly to his own devices. Clarroi was quick to take advantage of this new found freedom and, with DinDinna's guidance, created a new eye for Coar and a new leg for himself.
Not long a after his success with Coar an old crew-mate Sunseed brought Roza's daughter to him for help. She was barely alive and so badly damaged that she had to be placed on life support. Clarroi had to build her a new leg, eyes, a few organs, and several bones.
Self Experimentation
What little interactions Clarroi does have with Mecdir after this begin to get uncomfortable and dangerous. Leaving Clarroi with a broken arm in the wake of what he assumes is a malfunction in Mecdir's enhancements, though Mecdir insists nothing is wrong with his parts and refuses to let Clarroi fix them.Due to lack of oversight, and with the addition of a knowledgeable assistant, this indecent sparked Clarroi to begin experimenting on himself. Removing the broken limb and replacing it with one of his own creation. He didn't stop there though, as his curiosity and excitement grew, and his elderly, oft neglected, body started to fail him. He got progressively better with each attempt and his later works are near indistinguishable from the real thing, though he is more interested in progress than enhancing himself, and often overlooks upgrading previous pieces.
Unexpected Consequences
With the intent of creating better bodies for both Mecdir and Roza's daughter, who now goes by 8Ball, Clarroi starts a new project. He puts all he's learned so far into creating a mock up of a full body prosthetic. His idea is that if he can create everything needed for living, he can replace any part anyone might need with a near perfect, but better, replica.Unfortunately something goes drastically wrong with the experiment as it gets up of its own accord. Compleatly baffled Clarroi contacts Mecdir for assistance.
Mecdir takes over the project and instructs Clarroi to do his best to make the collection of parts look like its own person. After he's done the living mock-up is taken away and Clarroi is forbidden from working on any more cybernetics. All his tools, parts, materials, and research on the matter is taken from him and he's left with nothing to do.
Now
Bored out of his mind Clarroi turns back to refining and taking drugs as he waits for his next Government sanctioned project. Thanks to Coar and DinDinna's queen he's able to get his hands on useful materials and interesting curiosities.Very recently Clarroi discovered an odd mutation in his notetaking app on his data scroll. Thinking it may be connected to the odd occurrence that saw his last project act on its own, he makes the anomaly his new focus. Testing it with the help of Doctor DinDinna's daughter, whom he has been forced to babysit as of late.
Future
They have him take the final step, the culmination of all the work he's done so far. He is given Vivie that is so injured he can't even tell what kind it is, and is instructed to make it into a super weapon with Colossi powers to unleash on Jaumun. A cybernetic Hyperrover Dreadnought pilot that can withstand the Mindbreaker System. They also bring an unstable, half insane, mostly brainwashed Mecdir onboard. Clarroi complies mostly out of curiosity. But they don't trust him, so threaten Coar, yet again. This backfires for them though, as it only pisses Clarroi off, causing him to go a bit overboard with the super weapon's powers and less than careful when it comes to safety precautions. In the end the thing gets loose and starts wreaking havoc, on not only the Four Es Corporation, but all of Lord Ciwn, much to Clarroi's manic delight.
