Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Galarius is a relatively short, unassuming Half-Elf with sharp ears. Galarius looks like the stereotypical Ackramorian Half-Elf with his deep brown eyes, long dark hair, and olive colored skin. Galarius bears the weight of a leader of soldiers and has a tired but imposing demeanor about him.
Identifying Characteristics
Galarius bears the scars of a warrior, gained during his time as a soldier, officer, mercenary, and bandit leader. Galarius also has an easily recognized burn scar the left side of his neck and jaw.

Personal history
Galarius Proditea is a controversial figure among the Mortals of Jeharr. Galarius's unit, the 23rd Legion, was a decorated and effective part of the The Ackramorian Imperial Army during Galarius' time as a soldier, officer, and eventually leader within the unit. Galarius joined the Ackramorian Imperial Army in a bid to gain citizenship, as many did, but the complicated bureaucracy and turbulent political situation in the The Ackramorian Empire near The Collapse Period meant that Galarius was denied his request for citizenship after his four years of service.
Galarius continued to serve in his unit and rose to the rank of Legion Captain before gaining an officer's education at the Academy Militas and then quickly rising to Legion Major and then Legate of the 23rd Legion. Galarius served honorably within his unit, even earning commendations for valor and cunning from Emperors until the Battle of Ackra.
During the siege and subsequent Battle of Ackra, Galarius felt as though his unit was being sent to their deaths by incompetent commanders and, in 1 BBA, Galarius led the 23rd Legion to abandon the Ackramorian Empire in its darkest hour. Galarius was well liked by his subordinates so most of his 6000 soldier strong unit joined Galarius in deserting. Galarius joined Robert Draston and Taleison in the armies of the rebellion and took up arms against the Ackramorian Empire. After the armies of the rebellion were defeated, Galarius and his depleted unit fled north where they have remained ever since.
Galarius Proditea and the 23rd Legion (now known as "Galarius's Legion") are thought to number fewer than 1000 and move between The Kingdom of Wrath, Sevarnia, and lands beyond civilization.
Education
Being a gifted student of war, Galarius Proditea took a four year leave from service from 25 to 21 BBA to pursue an officer's education in the Academy Militas. Galarius graduated at the top of his class and returned to the 23rd Legion and took over command from its ailing Legate in 18 BBA.
Employment
Galarius served in the 23rd Legion from 49 BBA until 25 BBA when he took a temporary leave to pursue an officer's education at the Academy Militas. Galarius then returned to serve as the Legate of his unit in 21 BBA where he served until he was personally, dishonorably dismissed along with the 23rd Legion by Empress Evanlyn Vita in 0 ABA following the 23rd's desertion a year earlier.
Galarius has since served as a mercenary with the remainder of the 23rd Legion for a few of the Iorian States, but Galarius has mostly been an unaligned bandit ever since his dismissal from Ackramorian Imperial Army.
Mental Trauma
Galarius carries extreme guilt after betraying the sovereignty which reared him and which he swore protect. Galarius did so in an effort to save the lives of the soldiers under his command, but in doing so, ostracized his family, his country, and cost the lives of thousands of his men. Galarius is said to have become ruthless, living as a bandit in northern Tukarsh. Galarius is also said to spend days at a time on his own, away from his men, who have mostly been replaced by bandits and deserters in recent years.
