Tenets of Faith
Vitality, Bloom, Death The cycle of life of mortals on Jeharr is sacred and something that can never be fully repaired once tarnished. Corrupting forces, excessive unnatural death, mistreatment of the deceased, all things that jeopardize the mortal cycle of life and the continued existence of their eternal soul. It is the acknowledgement of the sanctity of the cycle of mortal life and all of the wondrous things that it can produce, that is cause for Gianti's faithful to defend it at all costs.
Holidays
Gianti's followers celebrate birthdays and go to great lengths to discover these dates. Curiously, Gianti's followers also celebrate the date of death of friends and family, and do so for at least as many years as the individual lived.
The first day of Vitanovus (10th of Timitusmensis) and the Harvest of Light (21st of Talusmensis) are days of great revelry for the followers of Gianti as they represent new life and the harvest. The harvest is seen as the blessing of Gianti who gives life to the land, so that it might give life to mortal kind.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Gianti's very being is tied to the life that spreads across Jeharr, wherever water flows and life springs forth, Gianti's green touch can be felt. Gianti is cause for much of the non mortal life that forms across Jeharr, including plants and even some non-sentient mortals. Her concern is with the environment in which mortal kind propagates, it is essential that every mortal have close ties to the land and life that is birthed from it so as to remain safe from corrupting influences of unnatural life and extra planar influences. Cities are breeding grounds for corruption and the mortals that live there are beyond the protective reach of Gianti.
Gianti is concerned with protecting the cycle of mortal life on Jeharr from outside influences that might interrupt or affect that cycle. It is essential that all mortals live and die in the natural way so as to facilitate the growth of their soul in their limited window on Jeharr. One day it will fall to those very mortals to defend the world that reared them from Gaulgulis, God of Damnation, who's hatred is only matched by his will to return to Jeharr and destroy it and all life on it. It is the task of the followers of the Goddess of nature to protect the deceased as well, as the misuse of the dead can damage and even cause the imprisonment of the deceased's soul.
Gianti is generally aligned with non-intervening Gods and, as a result, has a favorable outlook on Itar, Xihana and Onus. Gianti detests Gods who might damage the mortal soul in any way and, as a result, is aligned against Gaulgulis, Blair, and Lech.
