Hired by the Buddahas family he was a skilled associate of the grandfather of Otto Buddahas. But after the grandfather died, Otto had Baldo removed from the court and sent to the remote town to be out of his way.
He hated it at first and developed a bad reputation for being distant and cold to the townsfolk, bitter about his exile from Demtodna. But, since then he has tired to improve his relations and enjoys the town and considers it his retirement. He is now beloved member of the community.
