Klordrager - Dragon's Claw

A subcontinent peninsula that juts out from Himalayan-style mountains in three distinct land masses surrounded by archipelagos. This creates two gulfs of water between the three land masses, and two distinct passages between the outer land masses and the islands. Hundreds of islands run in front of the three landmasses creating a network of water passages throughout the region. The extremely high and acute mountain ranges make land routes between the fingers of land masses impossible, so water travel is the only viable transportation in and out of Klordrager.; the nation that claims this land home.
The land making the three fingered peninsula is covered with fjords of various sizes creating thousands of coves, bays, and inlets.

History

Lore of the name - Klordrager.
During the great Danomachy (War of the Gods) the dragons, “Stewards of the Danu” fought each other, Bahamut and the metallics fought for the Danu and the allied gods, while Tiamat and the chromatics fought along side the Deceiver gods. During the rage of battle Tiamat and Bahamut fought in the air above the world, each other slamming and clawing each other into the ground below. Eventually, Bahamut was able to banish Tiamat away. As she slid into oblivion, she reached out and tried to claw her way out, forever marring the land and creating Klordrager.
