The Order of Divine Elation

Clergy of Lebenfirm range from inattentive flirts to deviant hedonists. All are good-hearted, and value revelry above all else. Theirs is an aerobic devotion and are appreciated throughout Vandahl as some of the most physically toned individuals around. Their temples raise monies by hosting grand galas and selling high quality spirits and then spend these monies in seemingly chaotic fashion, perhaps to beautify this or that in a public place, or to throw a surprise party for a lord. In smaller towns and villages, they will spend their monies on ensuring all the festivals, and celebration days are observed with the appropriate (and sometime excessive) amount of charity and libations. Nearly every single holiday not tied to the worship or some malign being is a cause for celebration. Among the easy going of civilized lands, Clergy of Lebenfirm find patronage and encouragement, and are among the most popular clergy in all Vandahl. In darker lands, or in harsh, uncivilized regions in which frivolity can lead to death from the elements or government, their religion is zealously suppressed. Curious to a fault, this only encourages them to seek out such locales, hoping to provide happiness and joy with the step of a jolly jog or the lilting trill of a beautiful song.

The Order of Divine Elation, also known as “Jubilists” or “The Elated”, are a religious order of the followers of Lebenfirm that observe the Rule of Elation. They are an ancient monastic, academic pursuits of horticulture oenology, herbology, and such; as well as a paramilitary component whose origin dates back for a thousand years. Each community (temple, monastery, priory or abbey) within the order maintains its own autonomy, while the order itself represents their mutual interests. The terms "Order of Divine Elation" and "Elation Order" are, however, also used to refer to all Lebenfirm communities collectively.

The order is governed by the Abbott Primate. Governance for the Order is held by the Divinely Elated Confederation, a body, established by Saint Johan, Saint Neurion (Nur-ee-on), and Saint Geralt hundreds of years ago, whose head is known as the Abbot Primate. The Abbot Primate is also the grand master at the first and largest monastery for Order, The Monastery of Sacred Abundance, nestled in the Concord Highlands. There are two congregations that are governed by the Confederation, the “Jubilists” or “The Elated”.

The “Jubilalists” are the main component of the order. They are recognizable by the Dark Amber robes they wear secured by elaborate gold tasseled girdles. They are responsible for all duties and responsibilities of the Order. They are renowned distillers, winemakers, and brew masters. Their libations are famous through the lands for the highest of quality and flavors unlike any other drink throughout the Empire. The “Jubilalists” clergy maintain all the temple business throughout the land and conduct all ceremonies, celebrations, and festivals.
