Elkan

Elkan is a city near Iso and Tayun in Ethernia, specifically in Legan.
Elkan was historically a part of the Yuilnk Kingdoms, a group of many fiercely independent city-states which recognized no sovereigns over them besides those elected or born to the leadership of their own particular city.
Elkan derived its power from trade, although not coastal trade as it sat further inland. However important trade and travel routes went through Elkan's territory and so by such means could it derive wealth and importance.
