Nerfaya ((nurr-faiy-yuh))
Geography
Nerfaya's geography is heavily tied to both its history and flora. In -8120 FE, the Battle of Nerfaya took place. Demons ravaged the land and turned Nerfaya into a mutated wasteland. The entire realm is made of one massive layer of Sinking Soil. Those who sink into it are turned into beholders. The only thing making the realm slightly habitable are the trees. The roots twist into the ground, allowing creatures to walk on it.
Ecosystem
Nerfaya's ecosystem is incredibly nondiverse, with only one species of tree. The majority of the animals in Nerfaya fly or live entirely in the air.
Ecosystem Cycles
Nerfaya remains the same during all seasons except biafel, where unpredictable events occur.
Climate
Nerfaya is warm but very windy due to the lack of mountains and forests. Some windspeeds can reach hundreds of miles per hour, blowing away most small creatures.
Natural Resources
There are very few natural resources in Nerfaya. The majority of exports are either timber or crude metals.
