Ord Firebeard
Ord Firebeard is a Captain of the Chultan expedition of the Order of the Gauntlet, tasked mainly with the defences of their positions. Back in the mainland, he was a competent and reliable defensive specialist, but he was the first to admit that in the jungles, his usual tactics and techniques were inappropriate for the terrain, and struggled to adapt.
When it came to building he structures of Camp Vengeance, they were short of resources, and the ground itself was sodden mud from the river, which was vital to be next to for defence and transport. As such, although the palisade walls were strong against, it prevented good drainage and conditions within the camp were appalling. As much as Ord wanted to do better, Commander Niles Breakbone insisted it was a fault of the troops that they could not tolerate the conditions, and refused putting resources towards improving things.
Ord helped with the defence of the camp during a siege of Undead, and aided Captain Perne Salhana in the evacuation during the night, when she became Acting-Commander after the death of Breakbone.
