Eur'ii

Eur’ii is a temperate world with a large amount of climates to it. It’s most notable attribute is, no matter what the biome, you can occasionally find massive, individual mountains. These mountains are made by a breed of large amphibious insects known as the Jell, and their nests are filled with valuable minerals within the walls. No one knows how or why these creatures can produce so many minerals, and any attempts by the earth caste to replicate it have failed miserably.
The planet also has a large amount of spices and exotic creatures that the t’au are officially willing to trade with any rogue traders that pass by the system. A large smuggling ring exist to acquire these materials, and the minerals, for cheaper prices for Imperial space.

History

Originally settled by the T’au during the Fourth Sphere of Expansion when their rematerialised into real space after the opening of the Cicatrix Maledictum. The xenos quickly realized how resource rich the world was and began trading. Rapidly building up their colony into a fully fledged Sept, the earth caste became the most influential caste after the ethereals. This has led to the various other castes becoming increasingly envious of the prestige and wealth of the earth caste. In M41.954 the planet was invaded by a Tyranid Hive Fleet splinter, which was thankfully quickly driven back. This invasion made the Sept realize they need to be more proactive in protecting their planet. Currently the Sept is considering expanding, bringing in other worlds to the T’au Empire despite the… communications issues of being so far away.
