Osiris

Imperial hive world ruled by Governor Menes. From its vast, bottomless oceans protruded a handful of islands, which served as the foundations for its three initial cities: Satis, Khnum and Anuket. Amongst other exports like fishing and mining, Osiris began to harvest and export immense quantities of water back to the imperium to make its fortune. This plan, combined with the astronomical rise in temperature from heavy industry, has resulted in Osiris’ surface being left barren and lifeless. Those in positions of authority however, care little for the public discord that has arisen from the drought, and have instead taken advantage of the exposed seabed to easily multiply Osiris’ industrial output. A new city, Isis, was under construction when Bachramshedannan exposed itself as a threat to the system. The Arrival of the T’au forced under Kri’ket caused further tension amongst the Hive Worlds population, made worse by the constant Rading of Druhkari and Orks, and Rampages of the Daemons and Death Guard. The Imperials apparent inability to coordinate with one another and failures to stop the Xenos and Chaos forces running rampant caused further doubt in the populouses ability to protect them. The Grey Knights would later destroy the Blood Tide in the Battle of Satis performing a Ritual that would destroy much the Hive, but also end the Warp Storms plaguing the entire System. After the Majority of the Imperial Forces left, the Sisters of the Scarlet Thorn would be tasked with purging the Hive World of any remaining Chaos Cults or Gue’vesa loyalist.
