The Rat's Keep

The Rat's Keep was a enormous, crumbling fortress that loomed over the city of Lynbrook. Its ancient visage was a constant presence, and its failing integrity was a source of nervousness to residents of the citizens that lived in the districts below it. 
The Keep was a remnant of one of the many cities that lived and died before Lynbrook. It's origins shrouded in mystery, it was once an asset to people trying to secure the narrow passable stretch of land between the Mountains and the Everlake.
In the 4800's it was occupied only by animals and particularly daring outlaws. It's reputation for collapsing floors, and structural failures kept most others out.
