"The Iron" Bar
Is not that this bar is famous for it's duality, but that is a very important element of it success, because it is famous in two almost opposite circles.
Before midnight, this is the best place for those who want to enjoy nightlife but dislike multitudes. After, the place is taken over by those that need more noise, more excitement, more time outside after the other places close.
The music and the light change according to the expected clients, and the staff knows that the drinks and food will change too.
Architecture
While the exterior has Spanish colonial style, the interior has suffered all kinds of modifications. Glass, metal, and a lot of white are what comes to mind when the Iron is mentioned, even when the building is listed as part of the historic patrimony of the city.
History
You ask old Rogelio López, and he'll insist that the Iron is cursed. Not this one. The boat. He tells a fascinating story, that he heard from a friend that was as interested as himself in the topic of haunted places and ships.
Back in the day, this bar had a nautical theme, or at least that was the intention. Rogelio's daughter, Lucy, changed it for something quite modern and full of international influences. She even tried to change the name, but it didn't stuck.

Author's Notes
When I decided to write this —for Worldember—, the plan was to simply explain that this is where Haru works and tell the story about the name. I ended up discarding the idea in favor of building other elements that appear more often in the story. Not much has changed since then, but The Tavern Challenge made me think a bit about it and I finally decided to make a description, even if it's a bit vague, and finally write the article.
