Aftermath/Two Years Later Report
General Summary
Two years following the defeat of Mugen during the Siege of Tengoku as well as Heavens Fall, Koryo, and the rest of Ormodinia has managed to regain it's footing. Genji, who is now the Captain of Tengoku's Samurai, and Benkei who founded the Queensguard to protect Tao-Ren remained in Tengoku to support the worlds only remaining Saint.
Conradus, who'd come to visit his old friends, arrived in Tengoku one Spring afternoon to catch up and relax with his comrades. They spent the afternoon and evening reminiscing and updating each other on their new lives. Ayaka, however, finally put her foot down regarding the debts Conradus and Genji owed her, sending the group into the heart of the Glimmer to retrieve three of Yamata no Orochi's eggs. Trekking through the Glimmer, the group was approached by the Boatman, who'd finally come to ferry Genji to Naraku. To avoid that fate, Genji gave up his Withering Katana, Wings of Flight, as well as Raishin's Periapt of Healing.
The group also came across the ancient ruins of a shrine to Kusabehime, an ancient Kami who governed fungus and filth. Conradus however, recognized the depiction as Zuggtmoy, the Demon Queen of the Abyss.
They eventually came to a Yuan-Ti pyramid to Yamata no Orochi where the Yuan-ti made to trick the group into becoming sacrifices to the great eight-headed Kami. Upon its arrival, battle broke out but the group was able to snag 3 of its eggs and teleport away before any casualties were suffered, though Bito was destroyed and in need of repair.
Arriving back in Tengoku, the group turned the eggs over to Ayaka before coming across a group of foreign adventurers arguing over what to do with the loot they'd procured for an adventuring contract. Further investigation revealed that this was yet another depiction of a Kami; Agyo, a Kami associated with savagery and extreme violence. And once again, Conradus recognized the creature as Demogorgon, the Prince of Demons. An argument broke out in the streets over the ownership of the stone relief which was eventually settled when Tao-Ren was dragged into the squabble, and used coin from the treasury to pay the adventurers, deducting that amount from Genji and Benkei's salaries. After an emotional scolding, she excused herself, leaving the three stooges to contemplate these revelations.
