The goddess of death, Berath oversees the cycles of life and death, ensuring that all meet their proper end, but also overseeing new beginnings. Her forums appear throughout the world where the Lyrean gods are followed, though many tend to sit in quiet and distant parts of cities, often near cemeteries and graveyards. As a god of death, many are understandably unnerved by her, yet those who have found peace in their own mortality and the natural flow of things can appreciate the importance of worshipping her. Necromancers may worship her, praying that their work does not draw her ire. Some worship her hoping to be given the strength to begin anew and in a sense, be reborn.

Manifestations:
It is said that Berath appears in black metal armor with a permanent scowl on her face. Her skin is pale and looks paper thin. It is said that the Pallid Knight's pale skin glows an eerie red when she takes a life, though it is rare that she comes herself to do the act. Her ethers tend to show up on quiet nights or under the light of the Red Moon. They may cluster respectfully near the grave of someone who has lived a great life.Commandments:
- Respect death and the dead but know to let go. Finality comes to all no matter how great or small. Do not waste time cursing or obsessing over the dead, and do not desecrate their remains. A dying wish is holy.
- Do not expect perfection, but seek redemption and rebirth. Arise from failure as a new person and all will be forgiven. The redemption of her closest followers are one of the few things that bring a smile to Berath's face.
- Do not seek to avert the inevitable. Change what you can and accept that some things will and must come to pass.
- Cherish silence and darkness. It is rare that one finds solace when confronted with noise and light.
