The goddess of knowledge, Deionae is drawn to deepest, most contemplative ideas and unsolvable mysteries in the Multifold. Her forums appear in many different sorts of environments where the Lyrean gods are followed, both natural and manmade such as a grand library or a meditative glade. She has a holiday that is celebrated in many diverse circles of Kaerinthe called The Day of Discovery, a day where people come together to share knowledge.   Deionae's worship is geographically widespread, but considered by some as more of a niche god meant only for those with the time and money to dedicate towards study. Despite this, many druids and common folk who are more spiritually inclined do follow her. As of late, she has drawn a following by gamers who relish in the opportunity for intellectual puzzles.

Manifestations:

Some say that Deionae always manifests as blind, her eyes shrouded by a blindfold of some variety. Her waist-length hair seems to be unfathomably long when viewed from the periphery. Her ethers often serve to confound or confuse people on purpose just to see what they do in response. They often appear in libraries, places of meditation, and places of strong magic.

Commandments:

  • Dedicate yourself to learning as much as you can about the world. You cannot avert the danger that you do not know. To be satisfied with how much knowledge you possess is to be arrogant and foolish.
  • Meditation is important as it opens a door into a type of learning that people rarely appreciate: Learning about oneself is a tool to better learn about the world around you.
  • Respect and rejoice in magic for it represents one of the most enigmatic kinds of knowledge. As such, it offers a deep potential for learning.
  • Appreciate the ever-expanding nature of plants and trees. Both their roots and limbs branch to find new sources of sustenance, always seeking more.
Disputed:
  • (Traditional Lyreanism Only) Knowledge and magic are dangerous so be careful who you give it to. It must be released at the right time to the right people to best create the change you want to see.
  • (Fylen Lyreanism Only) Knowledge and magic should be spread to as many who are able to receive it. With these tools people can take more agency of the changes they wish to make.
