The god of inevitability, Hiergand values the constant and inevitable turn of time, and the unchanging march of nature. He represents every manner of storm, but also a stoic stability. His forums are found occasionally in cities where the Lyrean Gods are followed, but more often out in villages and in natural settings. They are often places of contemplation, ritual, and repetition.   Hiergand draws worship from a wide range of followers, for his sphere of influence is often interpreted in many different ways. Hiergand's Storm tends to embody inevitability rather than chaos, attracting those who seek to be consistent in their vows and to maintain a level head in the face of adversity.

Manifestations:

Hiergand's manjor manifestations are said to appear as an extraordinarily tall, lean man with a grey bearded face. Despite his seeming age and stature, he seems to be unaffected by the storms and the surrounding situation. His ethers can sometimes be found deep in the wilderness before a storm, in the home of a poor but hardworking farmer, or at a guard outpost.

Commandments:

  • The storm is unbending and the storm is unbreaking. You cannot scare it away or shake its resolve. Be like the storm.
  • Nature subsists without the fineries of modern civilization, yet it outlasts empires. Like nature, you must appreciate the simple things in life, and continue your path regardless of the storm raging around you.
  • Repetition and ritual are the keys to peace. Form habits that last, and do not abandon them. The discipline of the inevitable task that you must complete will drive you always forward while others forget themselves.
  • Always watch for danger, for it may strike at any time. It is hard to avoid a setback physical or mental, if you haven't braced yourself for the impact that will eventually come.
