The god of light, Jahalar represents protection (generally from evil or ill will), cultivation, and good luck. His forums are widely common everywhere that the Lyrean gods are worshipped, from large cities to small villages. His forums are more representative of a deity worshipped day to day by commoners.   As such, Jahalar draws worship from many commoners who are just seeking protection and good fortune from the threats of day to day life. People would often seek the blessing of Jahalar when raising a child or even a pet. More devout followers of Jahalar were often knights who wished to live up to greater tenets of protection, farmers who rely on a good harvest.

Manifestations:

A common form for Jahalar's major manifestation is hard to pin down, however many believe that he has long golden blonde hair, and always has a brilliant white horse nearby that he either rode in on, or will ride out. His ethers can be commonly found outside at midday, especially out at farms. They may also appear near places such as orphanages and windows.

Commandments:

  • Growth is the mark of humanity. Always seek to grow things, whether that be budding forms like life, such as plants or children, but also personal talents and skills.
  • Protect and cherish those too weak to protect themselves. Innocence is precious, and there is nothing more terrible than the innocent bearing the crimes of the guilty.
  • Enjoy and bask in light, because even small moments of warmth can make a world of difference. Many small victories can be just as worthwhile as one great one.
  • Luck is in the mind. Be the source of someone else's good luck. Help when they least expect it and you too might find yourself lucky on occasion.
