The Return of Toradin

A few years ago, an Undertop Historical Society researcher was clearing out an old storage closet when he found a document stuffed into the closet's back wall. The document was titled "The Return of Toradin." Toradin was the son of one of the gods many dwarves worship, Moradin. Toradin lived and died thousands of years ago. This document predicts his return to the world of the living, and how he would reunite the various divergent dwarven families that have arisen since his departure. It is very specific as to when he will return.
Since it has resurfaced, "The Return of Toradin" caused an intense stir among the Kingdom.
Many dwarves eagerly await Toradin's return because they want the clan infighting and bickering to end. They want all clans, family lines, and tribes to unite under one banner and harmony to descend upon the dwarven kingdoms for all eternity.
However, many dwarves anticipate that they will lose clout, influence, and power under such an arrangement. And, as is always the case, when someone feels as though they are about to lose power, they panic and try to maintain the power they have, or else grab new power elsewhere. Some of these dwarves attacked the document, claiming it is not authentic. Dwarven archivists have analyzed the document and found the parchment to be over five thousand years old, but this has not swayed many dwarves; they accuse the archivists of being pro-Toradin and therefore biased in their findings.  Some of these dwarves accused the UHS researcher that found the document of writing it and planting it so that it would be found years later, but the document is way, way older than the UHS researcher, so this is not possible.
This document has caused a political and societal rift to appear, splitting the Kingdon of Undertop into two. Revolution has not begun, but there is talk of it here and there. Hopefully, Toradin will actually return and, when he does, hopefully he can quiet the unrest.
If the document is accurate, Toradin will appear during the next full lunar eclipse. Tensions are rising to a fever pitch. Hopefully the Kingdom will survive until then.
