Castilion Town
Castilion is the Capital of the Fox clan lands, named after the Castilion Castle at its heart. It is set into the sides of the mountain, with the castle sitting above it.
It is a walled city, though the walls are more a demarcation of how large the town is than there for defense. The walls are made of a black stone and are only just above head height. There are three gates in the walls, named after the point of the compass they point in: East, North, and West. There is no South Gate as the city is built into the side of the mountain. Guards keep watch at each gate during the day, and they are locked at night.
Most of the buildings within the town are dark stone, with slate roofs. Many are apartments, with commercial premises on the ground floor. There are numerous street food distributors, and small businesses. The streets and buildings have grown organically, and so follow no pattern. It is easy to get lost if you don't know where you are going, as they form a kind of maze.
The most important is the Castilion Castle. This towers over the town, casting its shadow over it. At the bottom of the steps from the Castilion Castle is a large square. At the centre of this is a large mechanical fox Clock.
To one side of the town centre is a park, which is where the foreign traders set up camp and their wares. This is a large grassy area with marked out pitches for stalls.
There are even a few houses outside the walls. These are hastily built and temporary, rather than the solid stone buildings in the rest of the city.
