Amber Woods

The Amber woods is a massive woodland area with many ruins from a pre notime elven society.There has been many areas where the Uruk tried to burn the trees down and were even successful around the edges but the interior of the woods is dark and not very welcoming.Ghosts of long dead civilizations wander under the canopy of branches . The Amber Elves claimed sections of the woods as their birthright as well as the birthplace of elves and the Eldorian Emperor was forth coming to agree.This then become the nation of Ulatas.Some elves disagreed and claimed the homeland of the elves is on the island of Crydee refusing to acknowledge the Amber elves claims. These elves are called Crydean elves.
Over the last century many druids have returned and have healed many acres of the damage centuries of war have cost and have placed harsh laws of no trespassing into its depths.Other then the Amber fey.
The Eastern Amber woods was heavily devastated by fires and Uruk Destruction until the druids came and began a reclamation of these parts. Now you can walk the woods and see the stumps of its former greatness and the new life starting anew.
