Military action
War between Vahalamjor and Span'ce to protect/destroy the ancient gods.
Over 200 years after the Two Year Purge, a war starts as Span'ce invades Vahalamjor. Historians disagree on how the war actually started, but the cultural differences are incredibly clear: Span'ce hunted beings they called "Lorkin" out of their lands while Vahalamjor sought to protect them, viewing them as gods. However the war started, it was undisputedly started by Span'ce as they chased their prey from their lands. The ancient tomes of records in Span'ce are incomplete due to age, decay, and father time. However, it is clear that Span'ce succeeded in driving the "Lorkin" from their lands, but could not eradicate them completely. The war was better preserved by the Vahalamjor since the people etched battles into the headstones of fallen warriors. In their accounts, the war was not won but the gods were saved relatively soon after the start of the war, but then they commanded the Vahlic people to punish Span'ce for their heresy. According to the accounts preserved, the gods demanded the Vahlic warriors take no land for themselves, but burn villages and crops. In the end, according to historians, they pillaged and plundered the people of Span'ce to cause general pain and suffering for no reason.
