Vahalamjor

Meaning "Guardians of Valhalla" in their native tongue, Vahalamjor is a large conglomerate of clans that maintain the northernmost part of Kaldra. Vahalamjor projects a sense of toughness, heartiness, and a willingness to test their mettle in battle. The collection of the clans work in a sort of haphazard republic that each have their own freedom to do as they please in their respective villages, so long as they do not contradict the orders placed by the whole of Vahalamjor.
The clans are known for their tales of battle, hunts, and whaling, they train some of the best horses in all of Kaldra, and are universally recognized for their maps of the world - as they've explored it the most.
Many people, especially in the Imperial Dominion of Span'ce, fear and hate Vahalamjor due to the raiding and pillaging of their lands. However, most Vahlic people see themselves as the heroes of these tales, considering themselves messengers of the gods for testing the mettle of others.
