An unknown catastrophe brought an end to the Ancient Kaldran Empire, creating a massive power vacuum.

Historians speculate on what happened to the Ancient Kaldrans and it seems every one has his/her own opinion. Rumors range from leaving the world in a celestial flash of light entrusting the next generation to carry on their legacy, to the mythos of creating lesser beings that turned on them. Either way, they all agree that almost instantly they vanished.   This began an era of war and strife for all of Kaldra as greedy warlords began hastily grabbing anything they could through brute force.
