Idiomar's Reformers

A subfaction of Rohila's Crusaders, Idiomar's Reformers was a fanatical sect of the Crusaders who follow Norixius Karen Impulsive.   The story of exactly how Karen came to be in charge of the Reformers is unclear. The most widely known story is that Karen's personality, mixed with his Cleric abilities allowed him to sway members of the Crusaders to his cause. He started out with a small number, barely 50. By the time he participated in The Battle of the Frozen Temple there were about 300. By the time of their dissolution estimates point to nearly 10,000 Reformers following Karen.   Their mission was odd for the Crusaders. While they were still Crusaders in technicality their end goal is to conquer The Nation of Ghosts and "reform" the Torva'Ir. Why a group of non-elves led by a Dragonborn would want to do this was unclear.   Despite the odd mission and religious fervor the Reformers were known to be much kinder than their hardline cousins, and generally weren't attacked on sight. They'd even on occasion (for a small fee) escort caravans north to Holriad and The Northern Tribes.   During the Year of the Dragon and The Tharrisian War the Reformers followed their leader into The Nation of Ghosts and fought to defend it from Tharrisian invasion.    The aftermath of the war saw the creation of the Ager Terrena Idiomaris, the ultimate success of Karen's goal, though many died in the war itself. The reformers dissolved after this, blending into the newly formed power structure of the Ager, usually as Sanctus Domini (Holy Lords) or other positions of power and influence.

Public Agenda

Conquer The Nation of Ghosts and reform the Torva'Ir.

Disbandment

The organization came to an end when the Ager Terrena Idiomaris was formed. Those reformers that survived The Tharrisian War melded into the new nation as lords and other powerful positions.
