Torgan Korgak
Backstory
Torgan has been as a as a soldier in the war band for his village, Nath-Tul east of the central mounts of Thalengar for years. He was one of only a few survivors during a Gnoll Ambush. On the brink of death, the Warband General Barakus Uthar - General determined that Torgan was not going to make it. He was decided to leave Torgan so was left behind in favor of another member who was less injured.Having been left for dead, Torgan briefly recalls seeing an angel, before recording from his wounds. Alive, Torgan decided not to head home, tired of all the senseless and seemingly endless bloodshed; he instead built a makeshift shack in the forests of Cedarglen Forest, slowly nursing himself back to health before heading out in search of other settlements and a purpose, eventually ending up in Hadley's Hope. Here, he has been in the service of Caladwen Serenwisp the owner of the The Thirsty Griffin Tavern.
The Vigorous Protector
Always the first into battle, Torgan makes a habit of putting others above himself -making his brushes with death so frequent, that he's developed an edge when dealing with death.
When a creature you can see attacks a target other than you that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. If the attack hits, you become the target, taking the damage instead. Torgan is the shield
