The almost death of an almost god Part 2
Edwin-Lilly hid his things in a slight pile under one of the bushes, setting Aeglos down to watch over it.
He had grabbed a kife and all of his rope to make climbing up there much easier, epecially because he had a slight fear of heights. It wouldn't stop him, but he did like to have a tiny bit of security.
"What is a name? Am I supposed to have one?" The snake asked, clearly confused while Edwin was throwing the rope over the highest branch he could manage to make his way upwards easier. It was clearly a very odd snake, but that was kinda his job. Find the odd beings in the world and catalouge them so others wouldn't have to walk in the dark the same way he was doing.
"A name is what you use to refer to someone. My name is Edwin-Lilly. It's what people say to get my attention and so on. Do you have a name?" Edwin asked once he reached the level of the snake. It was really not his favorite place and he had gone a little pale, looking down.
