The lake was always quiet. No matter the weather or season. It was an eerie quiet. An ancient magical quiet, which had been ever present since the lake came into existence. Even if one disturbed the surface of the lake by throwing a stone into it or similar actions, there would be absolutely no waves.

It may be terrifying to most that a lake exhibits such behaviour, but since that lake was created by a god in a time before history it is not that surprising. There is an old legend surrounding it's creation, but this is not the place to tell it.
