The King has fallen ill, the region is at war, the innocents are starving, some even slaughtered like sheep. War has taken a massive toll on this part of the world. Avo was a Paladin, part of a special elite group of Holy men. Since the kings illness, the Holy group of fighters were contacted to delve deep, deep underground, to the deepest depths of the ancient catacombs. There, lies the first prophet of Eldath, goddess of life. The ashes of said prophet were blessed by Eldath herself, giving it Holy properties and able to cure any ailment known to mankind. Any and all attempts to heal the king had proven futile, magic, medicine, prayer, etc. Only the ashes will do in this case, and even then it is unknown.
Avo and his team traversed the treacherous depths of the catacombs, full of traps and monsters and evil spirits. They were gone for weeks, 5 went in, 1 came out. Avo is the sole survivor of his team. The reason behind his mission was to bring the ashes back and cure the kings affliction, and helping bring peace back to the region. They ultimately failed, and Avo barely escaped with his own life. He's scarred from this mission and extremely hesitant to go back to those terrible ruins.
The unspeakable horrors have left him only a shadow of his former self.

The cocky, egotistical Aasimar who can't seem to keep his mouth shut. Avo's wild mouth has often times landed him in grave trouble with celestials and demons alike.
