Skeksil is known in the underground for being one the best thieves in the land. Him and his brother Veksil used to be the greatest dastardly duo. Any job, any heist, they pulled it off. Except for one. The Kirkwin Estate.
It was supposed to be an easy job. Get in, nab the gem, get out. They didn’t expect it to be so heavily guarded... and booby trapped. Skeksil and his brother ran trying to find an escape route, but a misstep from Veksil sent a jet of flame from the wall, scorching the side of his face. Skeksil could hear the guards around the corner. His brother down and in immense pain, he made a quick decision, and jumped through a closed window. Escaping the manor and leaving his brother, Veksil behind.
It’s been 4 years since.
