Demo'rai
Twisted & Mutated Horrors
'Demo'rai' is the general name given to all nefarious otherwordly entities. Often called demons the various species of metanaturally evil horrors are most notably the ancestors of the Kakornio species. Very little is known about where they come from or their society, if any exists at all. The following demon lords have been documented and those who study such creatures are likely to have a passing knowledge of them. Due to physical similarities certain lords and their offspring are credited as the ancestors to specific traits among helborn.
Boilut
(pronounced; boil-loot)A nausiating rush of fetid wind washes over you in the twilight, the toll of a resonating bell, and suddenly you're eye to eye with a stunted figure that vibrates and shifts in place without moving. Three black eyes stare at you with a malevolent mania with dully glowing yellow irises. A mass of black tendrils adorns its head where hair should be. Its dome-like head seems to be directly attached to its broad, robust body with no visible neck. Several lengths of heavy fabric are wrapped around its body and hang loosely from its shoulers and arms and seem wet with some dark liquid. You can feel the creature's eyes continue to stare you down.
Culriet
(pronounced; cool-ree et)Radiant, feathery wings reach for the sky. Their outstretched form moves with strength and the conviction of purpose. Almost entirely naked, they hold a string of beads that are surrounded by luminous, pulsing energy, like a protective aura. You take a final glance at their face and catch a brief, ever so slight grimace. They raise a hood over their head, hiding their face, before turning off towards an unspoken goal.
Deniod
A clamor in the darkness, the crash of an ancient iceberg splitting asunder, and suddenly you're met with a mammoth beast of cold dread. Two blind-white eyes stare at you with an absolute loathing, and another clamoring roar resonates from its broad mouth in delectable glee. Dozens of barklike horns adorns its reptilian head like a mane. A puff of frigid air escapes the creature's full nostrils set at the end of a lizard-like snout. A constant veil of freezing air floats around it, but while inspecting this creature it inspects you in turn. It moves forward slowly, its two legs steadily carry its muscular body with a restless energy. Two meager wings extend themselves fully and several blue-white tendrils stretch upward, alongside the wings. A disappointment can be felt in the creature's gaze, which hasn't once left yours.
Eddreg
Round ivory eyes, each as large as a man, sit in dark shadows within this massive creature's dog-like skull. One enormous central horn sit atop her head and small rows of crystal growths run down the sides of her jaw like some kind of strange beard. A long neck connects her head to a thin, lithe body. Her back is covered in curved scales and a row of armor plating runs down her spine. Her throat and underside are covered in fine scales that are colored much lighter than the rest of her body. Four slender limbs carry its body and allow the creature to stand dignified and elevated. Each limb has 6 digits, all of which end in long talons seemingly made similar crystals to those on her jaw. A set of huge wings grow from just below her shoulders and end at the middle of her back, right before her hind legs. Her thick tail ends in a sharp crystaline tip and is covered in the same curved scales as her body.
Guzelth
(pronounced; goo-seth)A clamor in the depths, a creak of wood, and suddenly you're challenged by a young soul of thunder and anguish. Five cold eyes stare at you with a bellowing fury, and another clamor rushes from its cramped mouth in a show of force. Flickering, flowing fire adorns its thick head, which itself is has a perpetual grin. Excited breaths escapes the creature's broad nostrils set within a hanging nose. Its thick head sits atop a broad, inflated body. Chains wrap around it, as if to keep the creature contained, perhaps part of whatever those creatures call culture. The creature dashes forward, its two legs firmly carry its shadowy body with a maniacal energy. A blade-like tail swirls behind it, scars and bite marks are all over its leathery surface. Two skeletal wings extend themselves fully. Visible bones, and feathers of flesh stretch upward before coming down again with force. You haven't been able to look away from the creature, and it hasn't stopped staring at you.
Murvu
(pronounced; mer-view)Stepping out of the sunlight, a hulking being with eyes hidden behind hair stands in front of you. Their gaze pauses on you, a sensation similar to butterflies in your stomach takes hold of you. Ribbon-like, cotton-like wings make the angel look far more imposing. Their plump body glides with a solemn determination and is clad in golden armor. They carry a weapon of bright energy, which might be a sign of a great evil that needs to be dealt with. They turn their gaze toward you again; you see a calming smile. They stretch their wings quickly, before walking away.
Niorri

Two desolate eyes stare at you with a hollow dread, and another squeal surges from its scrubby mouth in a fit of rage. A tuft of hair adorns its rounded head, which itself is cracked all over. A whistling snort escapes the creature's expansive nostrils set within a stringy nose. Its rounded head sits atop a low, fibrous body. Electric powers crackle through its skin, perhaps part of whatever those creatures call culture. The creature steps closer to you, its four legs lumberingly carry its shadowy body with a dreadful energy. A shadowy tail sweeps behind it, tendril-like veins protrude from it in several places. Two modest wings extend themselves fully. Scythe-like bones, and glowing membranes stretch upward before gently lowering again. The creature continues to glare at you, and a vicious smile appears on its face.
Sareus

His broad head, like it's entire body, is covered with thick, black, leathery hide. A wheezing breath escapes the creature's thin nostrils set within a serpentine nose. Its flat, broad head sits low atop a roughly humanoid body. The creature rushes forward, its two awkward legs smoothly carry its demonic body with a fluid strength. A tentacle-like tail moves behind it, which itself almost seems like a separate creature. The being looks toward the sky, completely ignoring your presence.
Shydhir
(pronounced; sh-ee d'hear)A bellow in the shadows, a creak and crack of burning wood, and suddenly you're eye to eye with a young beast of flame and light. Four red embers sit in hollow eyesockets, and with every breath it washes you in a sickeningly hot wind. Flickering, flowing fire adorns its eerily human head, which itself is in a state of permanent smirking. A constant trail of smoke escapes the creature's nostrils set within a wide, flat nose. Smooth black metal chains wrap around it, as if to keep the creature contained, but what this means will hopefully remain a mystery. A thick, scythe-like tail lashes wildly behind it.
Qeinu
(pronounced; kee-noo)A howl in the gloom, followed by the scent of rotten meat, and suddenly you're blocked by an enormous female figure. Standing ten feet tall, two angry red eyes stare down at you with ominous horror. Another howl surges from her slimy mouth. Short burgundy hair adorns its blubbery head, which itself is covered in horrifying piercings. An intense sigh escapes the creature's full nostrils set within a drooping nose. Its blubbery head sits atop a large, fleshy body. Otherworldly faces bulge from its exposed skin, as though living souls were trying to free themselves from inside the massive creature. The creature moves slowly, as though listening to some unheard signal. Four narrow wings extend themselves fully and blistering membranes stretch upward, perhaps it'll fly away soon. Rage-filled eyes still look at you, but only barely. Thankfully you do not seem to be the cause of her fury.
Calm umber eyes sit rooted within the creature's long, narrow skull, which gives the creature a savage looking appearance. Two crystal growths sit atop its head, just above its small, warped ears. A row of horns runs down the sides of each of its jaw lines. Its nose is thing and has two wide, rounded nostrils and there are small tendrils on its chin. Rows of large teeth poke out from the side of its mouth and reveal only a fraction of the terror hiding inside. A lean neck runs down from its head and into a long body. The top is covered in stone-like scales and rows of small tendrils runs down its spine. Its bottom is covered in warped scales and is colored much darker than the rest of its body. Four thick limbs carry its body and allow the creature to stand poised and elegantly. Each limb has 4 digits, each of which end in thorny nails seemingly made of stone. Slender wings grow starting from just above its shoulders and end at the end of its shoulder blades. The wings are bat-like, thick skin and eerie bone structures make up most of the wing and sharp, spiky scales cover the top of each visible bone. Its elegant tail ends in a scythe-like blade and is covered in the same stone-like scales as its body.
