Church of the Radiant Sun

Formerly a small niche church, several miracles has propelled the Church of the Radiant Sun to swallow up most of the smaller churches of the Divinity district.
The church teaches that at the height of the Black Fever, the church’s god (A being so revered that even to speak its name is heretical) set himself on the material plane, took physical form and wandered among the mortals. Just as the plight of the city seemed most dire, the church’s most devoted gave their very souls to make the mortal vessel of the God powerful enough to travel into the depths of the earth, where along with the Chosen Messiah, the God fought against the Gods of Darkness and slew them. Varina Doe made the proclamation that the Black Fever was ending the very same day it did and this prophecy, along with the countless and almost indisputable miracles performed by the church has made it by far the most popular faith of the city.
The church teaches that when enough faithful has been gathered, the God can travel back from the underworld and will join the faithful again, to take them all into his own soul, as he did with those who were faithful the last time he walked among them.
