Divinity

For many years, Divinity was a district with no end to the varied churches, faiths and congregations, all of them intermingling, competing and preaching about salvation and damnation. In the recent years, however, the Church of the Radiant Sun has grown increasingly important, eclipsing the other faiths by a great deal. The entire district is dominated by the gargantuan Cathedral of the Morn, a massive building complex with room for all of the devoted and with plenty of room to spare for new practitioners. The other churches have largely banded together under the banner of the Unaligned Churches, lead by Inkanya Morrowseer, an atheist oracle who has argued that an alliance is necessary to keep the Radiant Sun from swallowing up the entire district.
The District itself is dominated by beautiful churches, statues and murals, with no expense being spared in glorifying the faiths practiced in the district. The red banners of the Radiant Sun can be seen wherever one goes, greeting travellers and welcoming them inside.
The city’s dead are also interred in the catacombs of Divinity, as per the particular faith they ascribed to in life. Those who are not affiliated with any church are given to The Faithless, a task that has made them a significant presence in the district.
