Crow’s Salon

The Crow’s Salon started as a Salon dedicated to the study of criminal thought and method, using all available scholarly knowledge to try and solve crimes of particularly vexing nature. Over time, the members found themselves solving an increasing amount of crimes and even, at times, predicting when crimes would happen. Other Salons came to the Salon and showed them the plans for their security installments and challenged them to find the weaknesses. It was, however, the Hangman Murders that fundamentally changed how they operated. The Hangman was a serial killer and his capture was to a large degree down to the theories proposed by the Crow’s Salon. This caused a subtle change in the Salon, which went from being theoretical scholars of forensics, to outright detectives.
While Parchen is officially under the protection of the City Guard, most of the Salons and citizens of the district prefer coming to the Crow Salon if they have been victims of crime. To keep the order, the City Guard is fine. But if you want a crime solved, you need a Crow. For this reason, the Crow’s Salon has very few enemies in the district and no real rival.
