Parchen

Home to scholars, students and everyone interested in academic pursuits, Parchen is dominated by expensive homes with large libraries, research facilities and laboratories. Few of the homes houses full families, with the majority of the district’s inhabitants preferring to stick to their research. While most of the population here jealously guard their secrets, there are places they gather for company and conversation; The Salons. A particular Parchen custom, the Salons are combined clubs, libraries and eateries. In these, members can share a glass of fine wine while discussing theories or listening to lectures. One’s Salon membership is intensely important for social standing in the district and there is intense competition both inside the Salons and between the different Salons.
