Those dwarves with a sense for adventure finds that the Virulent City offers this in plenty in the depths of the ruins beneath the city. For a long while, the city administration kept a seal on all entrances to the ruins, but with the Engineering Guild having drilled through the layers for their Grand Project, the Excavation Guild has gotten countless opportunities to explore and discover.
Almost all members of the Excavation Guild are trained in self-defense, but their first and most important task is the cataloging and examination of artifacts and knowledge of the worlds that was before the Calamity.
