Faceless Legion

The Faceless Legion is the military arm of the dwarven society, part police, part knightly order. Those who join the Faceless Legion swear off personal glory, donning armored helmets that obscure their faces in combat, so that none may take more glory from his skill than another. At the end of the day, when the fighting is done, all glory is shared equally with all. The Faceless Legion troops are armored in the best that dwarven forges can craft and with weapons which only the most masterful smiths can make.
In theory, the Faceless Legion is devoted to the needs of all dwarves. In practice, the commander reports to the Ancestral, following the plans of Karak Ironwrought.
