The Kingdom of Ituri
The Kingdom of Ituri is a region in the world of Karkanna, known for its dense jungles, swamps, and vast rivers. It is populated by various tribes, each with its own customs and beliefs, but united under the banner of the Iturian Kingdom.
The Iturian people are known for their fierce independence and martial prowess, with many skilled warriors and hunters among their ranks. They have a rich cultural heritage, with vibrant music and dance, intricate carvings and sculptures, and a deep respect for the natural world.
The leadership of the Iturian Kingdom was, until recently, held by Queen N'kisi, a strong and respected ruler who had earned the loyalty of her people through her wisdom and courage. She was known for her mastery of the machete and her ability to navigate the dense jungles with ease.
However, with the arrival of High King Devon Torran and his armies, the Kingdom of Ituri was plunged into chaos and turmoil. Many of the Iturian tribes rose up in rebellion against the conquerors, while others chose to submit to Devon Torran's rule in order to avoid further bloodshed.
Queen N'kisi fought fiercely against Devon Torran's armies, leading her warriors in battle and inspiring her people with her bravery. However, despite her best efforts, she was eventually wounded in the Battle at Lake Ikengo and forced to retreat into the jungle with her remaining forces.
It is unclear what has become of Queen N'kisi since then, but her people continue to resist the rule of High King Devon Torran, using their knowledge of the terrain and their guerrilla tactics to harass his forces and undermine his authority.
