Pledaria (pleh-DAR-ee-uh)
Pledaria is considered a territory of the Lanarian Empire, but not part of any state. It is an icy, rocky, storm-swept, inhospitable island in the far northern Lorthrai Ocean. There are no permanent civilian residents, and only two locations of note: a scientific research base, and the highest security prison in the Lanarian Empire.
Inmates of the Pledaria Penitentiary are technically allowed a visitor every six months, but exceedingly few make the long, unpleasant journey.
