Ningyo

A Japanese mermaid. They usually keep to themselves unless distrubed by humans. Ningyo exist in larg underwater societies under the waves off the coast of Edo in Reikai. Rarely disturbed or disturbers, they comprise the most isolated and enigmatic of the yokai societies. Those who have snuck a peek or been invited into the Ningyo Domain find them to be utterly uninterested in the goings on of the outside world, and are highly skeptical of outside influence. The Ningyo are often arrogant and distrustful of outsiders, but their dress and cities areundeniably beautiful, especially by yokai standards.
The Ningyo's stats make them a solid choice for dex based martial classes or wisdom based spell casters.

Water Whisperer - You are under the effect of Speak with Animals when trying to communicate with aquatic creatures
