The Akagi

Only completed but 5 years prior, the Akagi is a secret headquarters of Directorate 21 and other top secret factions of the Japanese military. The Akagi is located in the Imperial General Headquarters in Tokyo. The existence of the Akagi and the organizations that operate within are a secret to the general public and the vast majority of even members of the military. Its existance is know to a select few and the people who work within. To enter the Akagi you must have access to a special ofuda that will reveal a special buttons on the main elevator of the Imperial General Headquarters which will take you to the secret levels of the building not visible from the outside, including Kenpeitai Directorate 21 on floor 13.

Layout

The Akagi occupies the top 10 floors of the General Headquarters. The name Akagi (not to be confused with the mountain or the aircraft carrier), meaning "Red Castle", is such named for its luxurious decor. The walls are patterned in a Japanese style and painted in a bold red with rows of red columns supporting the ceilings. The main floor has plants, and a koi pond in the center. The floors throughout are made of black marble.
