Toward the city center, Kesava has a grand church, the center of her religion. Though there is a shrine on the actual canyon, the difficulty of getting there means that this location is of primary importance.
Home to Kesava's religion and primary training place for her clerics.
This building was built recently, only 500 years ago, after Kesava began making her irritation over a lack of grand structures in her name.
Organization of the Church
The Head Priestess, Crephi, organizes the church and its religious functions, but there are number of sub-priests under her.
The Church Dancers are the primary public face of the temple, they lead the times of worship and are well respected (and the subject of many lewd jokes by all).
The Church Warriors are a small but capable contingent of warriors who enforce Kesava's law on church grounds.
The Church healers - many of whom work at the
Healer's School - work for free for the poor of the city. The king contributes tax money to the temple, along with some nobles, to ensure that they are well funded and can afford their healing spells.
