Grove of the Damned
SOURCE
He walked with pride to the Grove, his head held high. But it did not matter, for his walk was one of shame. The citizens of Mere'Kak watched the man who had once been their greatest hero go. He had betrayed them, and for that his life would end, not to be carried on by his sons, who followed him to the shade of the trees, punished for following their father.
Architecture
The trees are tall over this place, and even more looming. It is dark here, only lit by fairy fires which creepily illuminate the faces of those turned to stone
History
The greatest criminals of Mere'Kek are condemned to the Grove, to live on as stone, never to be sent down the river and never to be added to the Consumed.
