Aliyah Wasanthi (née Westinghouse), second eldest daughter of the fabled Westinghouse Family. Wild child. Rebel.
Aliyah spent her life believing she would one day rival the greatest sorcerers of the realm; when her powers manifested strongly as a teen, many believed this to be true. Unfortunately, this never came to be, as they never reached the potential she wanted them to. This led to resentment of her sisters, especially Johanna Westinghouse and Esmerelda Westinghouse, whose powers were rampant and ever-growing.
As Aliyah aged, the schism between her and her sisters widened, until she left their home in Therenborough and moved to the Isle of Ratha, where she met and eventually married Volgrath Wasanthi, the son of a wealthy wine merchant.
