Darkwood
Found deep within festering swamps, darkwood is prized for being nearly indestructible, strong enough to be used as a staff and yet flexible enough to be fletched into arrows. Often, the wood retains the features of it's swamp long after the log or limb has been felled, excreting a sap that is acidic to the touch. Darkwood also finds itself easy to imbue with magics, as long as those magics remain steeped in the traditions of the earth and land.
